No experience is required. Our professional guides will give you a short safety briefing and practice session before the tour starts. Anyone with basic coordination can handle the ATV easily.

How long does an ATV tour last?

Most tours last between 4 to 6 hours, depending on the route. Half-day tours are the most popular and include round-trip transportation from Cusco, safety equipment, and a guided ride through scenic landscapes.

What is included in the ATV tour?

Our ATV tours include round-trip transportation, a professional guide, safety gear (helmet and gloves), and a short driving practice. Some routes may also include entry tickets to archaeological sites or local communities.

What should I wear for an ATV tour?

Wear comfortable clothes, long pants, closed shoes (preferably hiking or sports shoes), sunglasses, and sunscreen. A light jacket is recommended since the weather can change quickly in the Andes.

Is it safe to ride an ATV in Cusco?

Yes. All tours follow strict safety standards. Our ATVs are well-maintained, and all participants receive safety instructions before starting. Helmets and protective gear are mandatory during the ride.

Can children join the ATV tour?

Yes, children over 12 years old can usually ride their own ATV if they are strong enough to handle it. Younger children can join as passengers with an adult rider. Always confirm age requirements before booking.

No driver’s license is required. The tours take place on rural roads and off-road trails under guide supervision, making them suitable for beginners and non-licensed riders.

What are the best times of year for an ATV tour in Cusco?
